Schedule & Door to Door
There are many ways people use to get
from Miami to Orlando. The distance from
Miami to Orlando is about a 4 hour trip
on our transportation, however, look at
what some of the alternatives are:
Flying - Miami to Orlando
Flights
The Flight is about 50 minutes, but you
have to check in 2 hours prior to your
flight time, plus go through security.
Factor in the time it takes to park your
car and get into the airport, and
claiming your luggage once you arrive in
Orlando, you can set aside about 6 hours
travel time by air. You can expect to
pay about $300.00 each way to travel the
50 minute trip. You know airlines,
always out to save you a buck!
Amtrak - Miami to Orlando by
Train
Amtrak does not offer direct train
service from Miami to Orlando. You first
have to take the train from Miami to
Tampa before it comes to Orlando. The
fare is $10 higher than our
transportation, and it takes about 9
hours.
Driving - Travel by Car from
Miami to Orlando
The trip is not bad, you take the
Florida Turnpike which has a whopping
$18.00 toll bill that you'll pay from
Miami to Orlando, in addition to the $75
or so in gas. Traffic can be a nightmare
so the trip could be quite frustrating.
Car Rental - Renting a Car to
Drive from Miami to Orlando
This isn't even really an option. The
cheapest one-way drop off fee we found
with Orlando Rental Car Companies was
$250.00 in addition to the actual rental
car!
